What a Dump!

liked: Hmmmm let me think...... Disliked: It was like Suttons in the 70's small, dumpy, gross bathroom, no people, and the few people there all chain smoked! I'm not a smoking Nazi, I smoke myself. The air in that place was intolerable, I had to keep going outside gasping! When I got home I took my clothes off in the garage, and threw em in the wash , Unfun

Pot Luck

This bar is definately a hole in the wall. A little difficult to find. If Raven is bartending , you will definatly be entertained. You never know what your going to see. It bothers me they allow a lot of young people in there who are not old enough to drink. However a lot of new people come in from out of town and you get to meet some nice men just moved here. You just dont know what your going to see.

I Like to Breathe Too

After not really going out in Port Charlotte for a while went to the web last Saturday. Yes, it was just as we remembered, it's kind of like a bar in a garage, cinderblock walls with colored pipe cleaners on the wall as decoration. And yes, although there were not many people there it was smokey. I really would go out more if the bars were non-smoking. All those people smoking in there without proper ventilation is unbearable. We heard from some people that there was a drag show at the Pulse so we headed over there. The show was a riot, the queens were hilarious, but sorry to say once again, a lot of cigarette smoke.

*cough cough cough*

We could have really like this cozy bar except for one thing. Smoking is allowed inside the bar. It was a small cozy little bar with a couple of ceiling fans. I couldn't breathe well and had to leave after one drink when there was only one person out of the 5 people in the bar smoking (5 including us and the bartender). I've had 2 heart attacks in the recent past and just cannot be sitting in a cloud of smoke without having a third. It appears my husband and I won't be frequenting any gay bars in port charlotte. Too bad, we enjoy hanging out evenings in a gay bar with friends.

Well since Pulse was closed, I came here. I'm Im the first one here. So it's obviously slow. They're supposed to have karaoke tonight. The bartender is awesome. She's fuckin funny.
